Life at Stampenstein's Castle

Rubber Stamper Magazine - Yeah...received an email back from Christine of Rubber Stamper Magazine and she requested instructions and the template for my Triple Level Tri-Fold card that I submitted for their Pop Ups issue....this makes me very happy because I designed that pattern back in the mid-90's....now it will be shared by all and not just a my students.....once it is published I will post pictures....my motto was always - "I want to educated the whole world in decorative rubber stamping!".....and I am trying....actually I should update that from rubber stamping to paper arts...

Dubois Family - Yesterday was spent rounding up "family" photos of Alexandra's clan and collecting information about their lives....every one was found so now it is time to complete the ABC ATC Vintage Family Saga- formerly named Heritage....this is a wonderful project and it will expand my creativity...please check back to view the continuing Saga of the Dubois Family....

Alexandra Dubois Story

This will be a continuing Saga about the Dubois family portrayed in an ABC ATC form. There will be a person and story for each letter of the alphabet. This concept evolve on the Altered Gypsy website listed on the right. You can view its evolution there.

Our first member is Alexandra, the oldest daughter of a large, wealthy family. She has 6 sisters and 7 brothers. She likes quiet time and plans on taking a trip to Europe this year to visit friends and family in several countries. This will be the first time away from her home town of Dubois, Ilinois. She is anticipating a memorable visit to her grandparents home in Amiens, France on the Somme River.

WINNER!!!

Kelly is our Winner! of the Goody Prize....

I will get it into the mail tomorrow....Thanks for participating every one....Come back and check again....this was so much fun that I am planning on having a drawing every 2 weeks or so....tell your friends to come visit!!

ATC favorite

Canvas and Adirondack Alcohol Inks

This is a sample of my "real" artwork....though I have been into rubber stamping for 21 years I have now branched out in altered every thing which still incorporates my stamps but a whole lot more....however several months ago a friend as me to submit some artwork to be sold for the ADA - American Diabetes Fundraiser...these are the result of that request....they were done on 5 x 5 canvases using Adirondack Alcohol Inks applied by brush....

Distressing Times

This is a grouping consisting of a Journal, Pen, Necklace and Tag Card that I made to match for a workshop that I never held....was fun making the samples....the inside of the Journal has torn pages that progress up in size....the pen is a cheapy one from Staples and all I did was roll it over the stamp inked with StazOn ink and dabbed a bit of color here and there dtp style...

Durango Train

Durango Train

This is the train that I was riding on when I took this photos....breathtaking views...
Serenity

This is a picture I took on one of our Durango CO train rides.....I love the serenity of it....and the snow capped mountains reminds me that it won't always be this warm out side....

Better photo of Baggie Swap samples

This was a baggie swap. These 2 ATC's were created using things from Kersten's bag.

The picture above is an Inchies Swap with Altered Gypsy. We all created 1" Masterpieces and to display them I attached them to a 5x5 canvas. The canvas was colored using Colorbox Fluid Chalks. This will be showcased in my Art Nouveau guest room.
